Calendar of Events

We’ve planned a weekend filled with laughter, good food, outdoor fun, and meaningful time together — young and old alike. Check out the lineup and join the fun.

Welcome at Mt. Hood Village

  • Hosted by the Lenora & Jack Thomas Family.
  • Taco bar, Spanish rice, bean salad, chips & salsa.
SaturdayJuly 18, 202611am–11pm

Reunion Festivities

  • Indoor: Family Legacy Room, raffle items display, photo booths, craft station, and leisurely sit & visit areas.
  • Outdoor: bubble station, water ball and watergun play, children’s egg hunts, a fishpond for the little ones, toddler ball pit, corn hole challenges, and more games.
  • Mt. Hood Village also has a pool, children’s playground, and game and exercise rooms for your enjoyment.
  • 2:30–4pmRust Family Meal — Pulled pork and chicken sliders, salads, hot dogs, side dishes, and desserts.
  • 5pmGroup Photo — A photo of all of us together on the grassy knoll below the pool.
  • 5:30pm onFamily & Group Photos — Photographer available for individual family and small-group pictures.
  • 7–11pmDJ & Dance Party

Beverages

BYOB — please bring at least a case of your favorite beverage (juice, water, pop, electrolyte refreshers…) to add to our community ice chests to share. We’ll also have separate ice chests for cases of beer and wine, plus water available.

Rust Legacy Room

Together, we will bring our shared history to life in the Rust Legacy Room. Please bring photos, memorabilia, and stories from your branch of the family to share. The room will be set up with ancestry information along with tables and wall space for you to share information about your families. We’ll have removable adhesives for hanging things on the wall.

  • Medical / First-Aid volunteers — to help keep everyone safe and comfortable, we’re making a list of family members with first-aid or medical backgrounds who wouldn’t mind being contacted for minor first-aid needs during the reunion. If you’re willing to be a resource, please let us know.
  • Projector with USB port.
  • Outdoor water misters.
  • Large coffee pot and hot water machine for tea.

Bathing suits, beach towels, sunblock, insect repellent, outdoor chairs, and your stories, smiles, and laughter!
